Global Plate Collector is fully translated into English, German, French, and Dutch, with more languages on the way.

Whenever you spot a plate, simply open the app and type its short area code into the search bar, or tap the highlighted region directly on our interactive map. The app will instantly look up the region and add it to your digital log.

No! To protect privacy and make collecting fast, you only need to enter the short area or region code (for example, 'B' for Berlin), not the full number.

For countries that do not use regional identifiers on their license plates, you can simply use the 'Whole Country' option in the country selector to check that country off your list.

Every country format is different! The app includes a built-in "How to Read Plates" visual guide for each country, showing you exactly where the regional identifier is located (e.g., German district codes, French department numbers, US state headers).
